I've been there too...

After losing 40 lbs in 2019, I thought I had fitness all figured out. You hit the gym hard, eat a lot of protein, and better your lifestyle.

But while I thought I was being a good #fitgirl, I was actually burning the candle too far at both ends between my job & my health routine. 

It all came to a head in early 2023 when I noticed something just didn't feel right.

➡️ Working out felt absolutely miserable/resentful.

➡️ No matter how much I slept, it wasn't ever enough.

➡️ My periods grew increasingly longer & painful by the month.

➡️ I physically couldn't sit still or let myself relax without anxiety.

I was so obsessed with doing more in all areas of my life, to the point of neglecting myself & relationships - truly embodying the masculine "hustler, no days off" mentality.

The months of burnout and stress caused my body to react horribly [i.e. frequent bloating, acne, irritability, you name it.] It was begging me to step back and rest, but I actually had no idea how to do that.

I barely recognized myself. I was desperate for something to change.

 

Then, on a whim, I picked up a book on feminine energy and biology....

And suddenly everything did.

After spending a year researching and experimenting with the positive impact of femininity on health and trying to fix my own dysregulation, I now strive to help other women achieve the same and do less better!

Why FYF?

As a coach who's familiar with and mastered the standard macro & strength training plans so many sell, I can confidently say that women need MORE on their health journey. They need to know that wanting fitness and health to feel fun & simplified isn't a bad thing at all - in fact, it's completely right! 

FYF was created because I believe there's a gap in true female-centered fitness. It's for those that don't want to hustle and grind through burnout to reach their goals. One of the most neglected and underrated values in the majority of fit programs out there is INTUITION - being in deep alignment with your body and health. With this pillar as the guiding light at the end of the tunnel, the roadmap to your goals is clearer than ever before:

Imagine never having to crash diet your way to your goals again, but instead eating more than you ever have while seeing your physique transform! Or being able to maintain strong, toned curves effortlessly without hours of training on the daily. Or finally stopping the "frenemy" relationship with your menstrual cycle thanks to happy hormones.

More About Me...

An east coast native, I graduated from James Madison University in 2021 (roll dukes!) with a bachelor's in Kinesiology, concentration in exercise science, and minor in pre-physical therapy. From there I became a certified personal trainer, nutrition coach, and hormone health coach.

When I'm not coaching, you can find me curled up on the couch with a good book and a cozy blanket or adding to my collection of dachshund memorabilia (it's an obsession). I am also partially deaf, wearing both a hearing aid and a cochlear implant. I currently reside in Virginia but am looking for my next adventure!
